Terms of Service

1) Who we are

The Service is operated by Wonderfarm LLC ("Wonderfarm", "we", "us", "our").

2) Eligibility and age

Truffle Journal is not directed to children under 13. By using the Service, you represent that:

• You are at least 13 years old, and
• If you are under the age of majority where you live, you have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

3) Account registration and security

You may need to create an account to use the Service. You agree to:

• Provide accurate information
• Keep your login credentials secure
• Notify us immediately at hi@wonderfarm.app if you suspect unauthorized access

You are responsible for activity on your account to the extent permitted by law.

4) Your journal content

"User Content" includes journal entries, text, images, tags, prompts, reflections, and other content you submit or store.

You own your content

You retain ownership of your User Content.

Limited license to operate the Service

You grant Wonderfarm a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, transmit, and display your User Content only as needed to:

• Provide the features you request (saving, syncing, search, organization, sharing you initiate)
• Maintain, secure, and improve the Service (e.g., reliability, debugging, abuse prevention)
• Comply with legal obligations

This license ends when your User Content is deleted from our active systems (backups may persist temporarily as described in the Privacy Policy).

Private by default

The Service is designed for private journaling. Your entries are not public by default and are not shared with other users unless you choose to share (for example, by generating a share link or exporting content).

5) AI features and third-party model providers

Truffle Journal may offer features that use AI to help you write, reflect, summarize, tag, or search your journal ("AI Features").

When you use AI Features, portions of your content and related context may be sent to third-party providers such as OpenAI and Anthropic to generate outputs. If you use workflows like "remember this" or "search my journal" via external assistants, those platforms may send requests to our service and receive results you authorize.

AI outputs can be inaccurate or incomplete. You agree not to rely on AI Features for medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice.

6) Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful activities
• Upload or share content that infringes others' rights (copyright, privacy, etc.)
• Attempt to bypass security, access others' accounts, scrape, reverse engineer, or disrupt the Service
• Introduce malware or abuse the Service in ways that harm others or the Service

Because journaling is private, we do not promise to proactively review all User Content. However, we may take action (including account restriction) if we reasonably believe it's necessary to comply with law, protect safety, or prevent abuse.

7) Sharing, links, and exports

If you share an entry (for example, via a share link) or export content:

• You are responsible for what you share and with whom you share it
• Anyone who has access to the link or exported file may be able to view the shared content
• You must have the right to share the content and must not violate others' privacy

8) Subscriptions and purchases (planned)

We may introduce paid features or subscriptions in the future. If we do, additional purchase terms will be presented at the time of purchase and will apply.

If subscriptions are offered via iOS:

• Subscriptions may auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
• Billing and management (including cancellation) are handled through your Apple account settings
• If we change pricing where permitted, we will provide notice through the purchase flow and/or as required by Apple

9) Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if:

• You violate these Terms or applicable law
• We must do so for security or legal reasons
• We discontinue the Service (we'll try to provide reasonable notice)

10) Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation
• We do not guarantee AI outputs are accurate, complete, or suitable for any purpose
• You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of any content you consider critical

11) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wonderfarm will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from or related to your use of the Service.

In any event, to the extent permitted by law, Wonderfarm's total liability for claims relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to Wonderfarm for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim (or USD $100 if you paid nothing).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in that case, these limits apply only to the extent permitted.

12) Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend and indemnify Wonderfarm against claims arising from your User Content, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.

13) iOS / Apple terms

If you use the Service on iOS:

• These Terms are between you and Wonderfarm, not Apple.
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
• Apple is not responsible for claims related to the app (including product liability, consumer protection, or IP infringement).
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them.

14) Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, excluding conflict-of-laws rules, except where your local consumer protection laws require otherwise.

15) Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice in the app and/or by email. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
